Plusieurs travaux de recherche translationnelle (recherche clinique, et fondamentale) concernant les maladies systémiques (lupus, syndrome de Gougerot Sjogren, maladie de Horton, sarcoidose,…) sont entrepris avec notre Centre de Recherche sur l’Inflammation, INSERM UMR1149, CNRS ERL8252, Faculté de Médecine site Bichat, Laboratoire d’Excellence Inflamex, Université de Paris.

En cours : un projet ANR (lupus), 2 PHRC (fibrose rétropéritonéale, Susac) et 3 CRC (lupus, Susac).

Le centre de l’hôpital Bichat est intégré au réseau national des centres de référence pour le lupus, le syndrome des anticorps antiphospholipides et autres maladies auto-immunes rares, qui se compose d’un centre de référence coordonnateur basé à l’hôpital Pitié-Salpêtrière (Paris), d’un centre constitutif en Martinique et de 35 centres de compétence répartis sur le territoire national.
